What is Legs Bums & Tums?
Legs Bums & Tums, often shortened to LBT. This is a classic conditioning class that is proven, focusing specifically on the lower body and the core. At MissionFIIT Activity Hub in Hailsham, we’ve modernised this favourite to ensure it’s high energy and results driven. We use a combination of bodyweight movements, resistance bands, and light weights to fatigue the muscles in your legs, glutes, and abdominals, helping to create a lean and toned appearance.
How and what it affects in the body
Legs Bums & Tums (LBT) is designed to hit the areas that many people find the hardest to tone. The "Legs" portion focuses on the quads, hamstrings, and calves through squats and lunges. The "Bums" section utilizes targeted glute isolation exercises to lift and firm. Finally, the "Tums" part involves a variety of planks, crunches, and rotational moves to strengthen the entire abdominal wall. Beyond aesthetics, strengthening your lower body and core improves your balance, protects your lower back from injury, and makes everyday movements feel easier.
